Ian, one of the Unnecessary walking members, suggested an extra trip this year to Everest base camp. It seemed like a good idea when he suggested it last February, flights were booked, passes obtained from the wives etc but now we have to get up the mountain it all looks a bit more daunting. I hope to keep this blog updated with progress but of course that relies on internet access.
